For best results remove from the refrigerator for up to 20 minutes prior to cooking.
Remove all packaging. Preheat the oven. Add a little oil to a hot frying pan and brown the meat over a medium to high heat for 1-2 minutes. This will seal the meat and lock in its flavour and juices.
Once browned all over, transfer to an ovenproof dish. Add stock and root vegetables, cover and cook in the oven for 2 1/2-3 hours.
Alternatively you can cook on the hob for 3 1/2-4 hours.
Always follow cooking instructions – raw meat should always be cooked thoroughly until piping hot and no pink meat remains.
Raw/undercooked meat may contain harmful bacteria that may cause food poisoning. Always wash hands, chopping boards and utensils after contact with raw meat. Check product is piping hot before serving.
Do not reheat.
